Wednesday my dad & I went to Summerfield Zoo in Belvidere. I had been wanting to go here for awhile because I get there newsletters through emails. So we met up and drove over there. It ended up being VERY cold & we were the ONLY people there! That was pretty n ice though because we could go where we want and do what we want. We even got our very own personal animal show. A girl brought out animals and we got to pet and hold them! We did however, have a tour guide, his name is Percy. He is a cat. A very CUTE kitty! When we walked in he just came running up to us & then he took us around the whole zoo (which is basically a farm)! There were many different types of animals though. Overall I had a lot of fun!! Afterwards we went to Donley’s Wild West Town Steakhouse & split a nachos appetizer. Although that was AFTER we had the best brownie ever from the zoo!
