Darrell’s & my 3 year anniversary was Monday September 19. So that Friday through Monday we had reservations to go camping in Sycamore. It was a new campground we had never been to. Plus my parent’s were supposed to have their RV and camp with us. Well, there’s wasn’t in yet, so they had to cancel their reservations. But Darrell and me still went, we left Friday afternoon, got there and set up. It was nice, but it was basically downtown, behind a grain elevator, and wasn’t very camp like! All the spots were close together and on gravel. No grass! However, there was 2 beautiful lakes, with a walking/driving trail around the biggest one, so that was great! I walked around that quite a few times! It was still a cute place, although we don’t think we’d camp there any longer than what we were there for. Saturday was a gorgeous day, but my parent’s were busy that day (picking up their new RV!). So they brought out the RV and the kitties on Sunday. Unfortunately, it poured ALL DAY! But we were able to put our camper right next to each other, with our awning out, and go from camper to RV! It was still a lot of fun, and we loved our gifts and our cake!
This is a picture of me by the big lake while Darrell and me were walking around Friday night.
This is a picture of the camp store/office. I do love how it looks like an old town building!
And this is Darrell and me with our anniversary cake from my parents!
