So the year 2011 is over, and it is now 2012. We are that much closer to the year 2525…….. Anyway, after a year hiatus (we went to Pheasant Run last year) Darrell and I went back to the Lisle/Naperville Hilton for NYE. We met my parent’s at a restaurant first for a small lunch and then we all went to the hotel. My parent’s gave Darrell his birthday presents early.
My dad and me went in the hot tub and then relaxed in the hotel room for a while.
My parent’s eventually left and Darrell and I got ready for the party.
We went downstairs, had some appetizers, got some drinks (kiddie cocktails for me!). Had some dinner, watched the band and listened to the DJ, and then danced the night away! It was great except for how cold it was. This is partly why it was cold…..
