Book 53 of 500!!

This entry is also hard. This book was The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown. This was my mom’s and my latest book club book from February. It’s interesting because our last book club book, The Host, I loved, and mom didn’t. So I made her read it and she ended up LOVING it! This time I really disliked this book, and mom said she really liked it. So obviously I wanted to keep reading, because if she liked it, I knew I eventually would too. But then everything that happened with my mom happened, and to be honest I didn’t touch a book for 2 whole weeks, which is so not like me. I love to read, but I’ve really lost interest now. But to honor my mom I wanted to finish this book that she was enjoying and never got to finish. And of course, my mom was always right, I did end up liking it, although as I read it, it really made me sad. Last night was a book club, I went to thank everyone for including my mom and me, and to tell them how much she enjoyed book club. I can’t go back, not now, not ever. Not without my mom…….
