A few Sunday’s ago there was a memorial service at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, for anyone who had died in the last 3 months. We went and I am glad we did. We got to bring a picture of my mom and put it on a table where they lit a candle. Then there was a nice service, and they actually read all of the names, which I thought was nice. Plus we got to go up and take flowers, which we later brought to my mom’s grave that day. I also got a nice little pin to keep as well, which I pretty much wear every day.
My dad took this picture, and there was a white orb in it, I think it was mom, I believe she was there with us that day.
Here is the picture we brought of my mom and her candle.
These were the flowers we got to take.
And finally some of the other pictures of the other deceased.
I want to thank the following people for coming and remembering my mommy.
My dad, Darrell, Aunt Judy, Uncle Ken, Colleen, Vicky & Francis, Marlene, Aileen, Mr. & Mrs. Burks, Marian, Anita & Ravi. It meant a lot.
