This past May was my first Mother’s Day without my mommy…. I have spent every Mother’s day with her since the moment I was born! (and even before seeing as my birthday is May 29!) It was a very sad day…. My dad and me went to the cemetery so that I could still be with my mom, but it wasn’t the same. Seeing as I had no clue my mom would be taken from me this year, I had all of my mom’s presents already. She actually didn’t know about any of them, which made it more sad, because she never got to see them, and I know she would have loved them…. One of the saddest things is the pig knitting needles (she had gotten me lamb ones for my birthday – which my dad gave me in May). Once we gave each other our needles she was going to teach me to knit, I think she was looking forward to that…. Here are some pictures of my mom’s presents at the cemetery (her stone was actually there as well that day) plus the last one is a picture of me with my mom, now the only way I can take pictures with her anymore :o(
Then this happened more towards the end of the month, but seeing as I’m so behind I figured I would include it in this post. My mom’s brick was finally put in at Elmhurst College as well. So here it is! Don’t you think she would have liked it??
