A couple weekends ago Darrell and me went camping just the 2 of us to our favorite place, Shabbona Lake! Of course we took Mary and Batman too! He took the Friday off and I had a 1/2 day. We got there and set up and went to dinner at the Pokanoka Cafe because Darrell wanted the fish fry. Saturday was a nice relaxing day of not doing much of anything. I love sitting outside with Darrell, while the kitties are in their kitty tent, and either read or go on my laptop while Darrell looks around or naps. Hey, he’s just like a cat! Mary and Batman either just look around or nap too! 🙂 Anyways that night we made walking tacos, yum! We also took some walks and rode our bikes after going to the Shabbona 4th of July parade that was SUPER tiny and short, but hey we got lots of candy! Sunday after a crazy hail storm we packed up and Darrell surprised me by taking me to my favorite ice cream place in Hinckley!
