On Friday Darrell and me drove down to the falls, we finally found our cheapest parking lot yet, $5!! We walked thru downtown to the Rainbow bridge, and crossed it over into New York! There was supposed to be a spot, or a plaque of some sort showing you where the line was that split between the US and Canada, but it wasn’t there! Luckily there were 2 flags showing where it was, but still I was a little disappointed! Then we went though customs, and walked ALL AROUND! We did a LOT of walking! There are more than just Goat Island there, there is Green Island and 3 Sisters Islands too, and then Niagara Falls, NY as well! This was my first time to NY! People said that the NY side would suck compared to the Canada side, but I disagree, they were equally as good, each side was better in some way. I am really glad that I got to see both sides! I feel like I saw everything that is needed to see to really know what Niagara Falls is all about!!
