Book 69 of 500!

This book I bought last summer when Darrell and me were traveling to Des Moines, Iowa. We stopped in Amana to have lunch and we walked through the shops and I found this book called, Love Find You in Amana Iowa by Melanie Dobson. I actually thought it would be about the Amish, because I thought that is who lived in the Amana Colonies. Turns out it’s a group of people called the Inspirationists, This story was set during the Civil War, when these people traveled and made their home in Amana, Iowa. I loved this book, I learned about a new type of people I didn’t know about, and it was set in the Amana Colonies in my favorite state and it was during the Civil War. A lot of my favorite things all in the same place! The story was sad at times, but still a great read!
