DuPage County Fair Part 2

Right before the fair Colleen came to me and said a couple of the fair directors were honoring 2 other past fair volunteers that had died, and they wanted to include my mom in this. So we gave them some pictures, and it was displayed in the Memory Barn!

One thing I really enjoyed was getting to walk around late at night, especially when we didn’t have work the next day! Here is a photo we tried to take when we were walking over the bridge right by the fairgrounds!

I don’t really care for the petting zoo that they have had the last couple years because you can’t go inside with the animals and really PET them! However, I fell in love with this baby camel! I wish you could have heard the noise he made! Dad enjoyed feeding him!

One night during the fair, there was a country singer and right by our campers was the back of the stage, so we tried to steal a few glances!

I think dad got his butt in this shot, LOL!

On the Saturday of the fair we went and supported Colleen, Naomi and Tabitha who were getting their heads shaved for a cancer organization! They have way more guts then I do! So good for them!

And it here it the finished products!

Something funny is ever since the fair got the duck races, everytime I go, all I have to do it sit in the exact same spot and raise my hand and I always get picked! And I always get picked FIRST! It’s amazing! And I love it!

My friend Anjeanette LOVES ducks, and so she wanted to race, so I told her to sit in my spot and do exactly what I told her, and GUESS WHAT? She got picked! It’s crazy!
