Summer/Fall Events!

I have a picture here and there from different times and/or places this summer/fall. Instead of doing a separate post for each, I’m just going to do them all in one post! Bare with me!

Darrell and I tried to grow sunflowers again this summer, here is a look at that!

One weekend this summer Darrell, dad and I went camping in Galena. One picture is of Darrell and me walking over the bridge and in another is dad and Darrell watching the blacksmith!

My great aunt Ann’s facility she lives at had a Country Faire this summer with lots of fair food, and animals and music, it was so much fun!

In September when my dad and I went to the Sandwich Fair, when we were coming home we found a poor lost doggy. It was a long night of going to the vet, tons of phone calls before we finally found Sparky’s owner, and her boyfriend came to pick him up. I wanted to keep him!

One Saturday dad and I took Darrell to Choo Choo’s in Des Plaines and when we left there we stopped by the first McDonalds!

My elementary school, Johnson, has had a new building built, and now they are remodeling the old part. We went to an open house, and it was so sad. I mean the building was really nice, but I miss the school I went too…..

The First United Methodist Church of Bensenville that is right behind my parent’s house have been great to us since my mom died. They’ve invited us to many events as well as helped us honor and remember my mom. We went to a concert one chilly Saturday night for a celebration of their 175 years!

I took dad to the Scarecrow Fest in St. Charles. It was his first time going. I had been before with Darrell and one time my mom went with her friend, and I even got to run into her! It was chilly this day too, and the poor petting zoo animals were freezing. If you look to the right there is a brown and white bunny that looks just like my Dutch!
