The following are some pictures that were taken in the Fall. (Yes I do realize I am still WAY behind on my blog!!)
Darrell’s mom turned 80 in October so the family had a very nice birthday party for her. Here is a picture of the 2 of them I made them take!
Kiddieland closed, which is very sad. I have so many memories going there growing up with my mom, dad, brother, aunt and cousins. I always had so much fun, and I miss it. If I had kids one day, it would have been nice to bring them there. Everything is gone except the sign, they moved it to a near by town’s library, so my dad and I stopped one night to get a picture!
After a long, long time I was finally able to visit my friend Melissa at her house. We’ve always kept in touch but hadn’t seen each other in person in so long. We had a great visit, and I finally got to meet her adorable kitties too! Here is Sam!
When I got Dutch, and he broke his leg I ended up needing to find a vet that saw exotic animals. I found a great one that I love. On one of Dutch’s many check ups, a PIG walked in! Turns out I’ve seen another one there too since then. Guess pigs make great pets! Mom would have loved to know that!
Dad and I went to Fischer Farm in Bensenville to there open house. I love it there. I took a picture of this tractor for Darrell!
While I was still working at Girl Scouts I got to work in the Joliet office twice. I hadn’t realized there was a private office for the shop manager. Since there was a temp there I got to use the private office and it was FANTASTIC!!!
