Book 122 of 500!

This book was A Place of New Beginnings which was the sequel to A Place of Refuge! It followed the story of the Dutch people from Pella moving to Orange City to start a new colony there! It showed all of their hardships of starting something new from nothing! And it truly amazes me to think how these people began what is now the Orange City I know and love today!! Part of me would love to be able to do something like that, and yet it just seems so hard, but without all those people starting all new colonies all over the US there would be the towns and cities that we have now, and they wouldn’t be what they are today without these people, the true pioneers.
