Sycamore Threshing Bee / Steam Show 2010

So today Darrell & I were at the Sycamore threshing bee / steam show! We became member last year, and we just renewed our membership for 2011. Next year I’d like to go more than 1 day! The sun was hot again today, but there was a nice breeze thankfully! There were way less hit ‘n miss engines then they’re usually are. But way more tractors and antique booths. This was the 1st time we did their parade. It was fun, except we started our tractors at 1:20 for a 1:30 parade and then proceeded to have to sit in the sun w/ them running until our turn came at 2:15! That was pretty ridiculous!!!! After the parade we loaded up the tractors and brought them back to Sandich. Then we got some fresh tomatos and sausage meat from Rod and Leslie, and I am waiting patiently while Darrell makes some homemade spaghetti sauce, and then he’s making me my gnocchi to put it on! YUM! Can’t wait! After that, though, it is bedtime, I am once again exhausted! I just wish I had one day of nothing to do, so that I could rest and relax and maybe get some of my energy back!!! But still today was another fun day, I had 3 in a row!
