On Monday my dad and I drove downtown. We parked and walked to the Sear’s Tower, we got there at 9:30 but they didn’t open until 10, luckily it was a gorgeous day out! We were first in line and got up to the top first, also! We walked around and then we went to the glass areas, where you can walk over the edge and stand on glass so you are looking straight down! There are 4 of them. My dad had no problem with this, but me, I had to take my time. Like check to make sure there really was a floor there, and hold on, and close my eyes at first. I was shaking, but after like 20 minutes it did get easier! It was really cool though! We got a bunch of pictures and videos which will be up eventually! Then we took a really long walk to the Field Museum. My dad wanted to go because he could get in free from Sear’s. However, we didn’t realize it was already a free day! It was pretty horrible though, because there were just like a million people there, especially all of the school groups, aaahh! Then we went to Garrett’s and bought the best popcorn in the world! I went to dinner at Denny’s with my parent’s before heading home. It was a really great day! Enjoy this picture!
