Yesterday was technically my first day back to work after a nice long break. Except, that instead of going to my real job, I got to go to the Aurora train station, and take the train to Union station in Chicago. The Girl Scout Chicago office is actually above Union Station which was cool. I was there all day for a new hire orientation. We had breakfast, lunch and then met a bunch of people and learned a bunch of things. Overall, it was a great day, except for my nasty cough that won’t go away! It was also Darrell’s birthday, so I let him pick his dinner, which was Taco Bell and I picked it up and brought it home. This coming Sunday I am going to cook Darrell his real birthday dinner, was gonna do it this past Sunday but I was too sick!!
