Yesterday I had to work 8:30-12, but it goes by fast, and I don’t mind it too much. My parent’s stopped by, so that always makes it better! On my way home I went to a retirement home, and dropped off some Valentine’s made by girl scouts. The man seemed really appreciative and I hope all the residents enjoy them! In the evening Darrell and I went out to celebrate Valentine’s Day! We went to the Timber Creek hotel in Sandwich, IL. We had a buffet dinner, which the appetizers were great, and the majority of the food was really good too! After that there was a show. The opening act was a magician/comedian and he was HILLARIOUS! He performed for an hour and 15 minutes, and I wish he would have stayed on longer! Then the main act came on, which was a ventriloquist/comedian. He was only on for a 1/2 an hour which seemed odd, but I was OK with it, because he wasn’t very good. I don’t want to be mean on here in case someone finds this post, but wow he was bad….. Overall though it was a very nice evening! Here is a picture of our center piece on the table, it was pretty dark in there so couldn’t take a picture of anything else.
