Day 11 – Blood Tests

Today I worked at Mayneland Farm 7-1 and then went to Rush Copley Hospital to have my blood tests. This whole mess started last November when I got REALLY SICK, and I was sick for a looooong time before anyone figured out what was wrong with me! Turned out I had hypothyroidism, and I had lost a bunch of weight, then after a couple months it switched over to hyperthyroidism and I gained a bunch of weight, which I’m still trying to lose! Anyways I was on meds that whole time, until about 2 months ago when my blood tests showed that my thyroid was back to normal again, so I was taken off the meds, and I’ve felt fine. Today’s blood test will determine if my thyroid for sure is back to normal to stay. If it is then I’m in a group of 1% of people that have this, which means there is also only a 1% chance that it’ll happen again, and 99% chance that my thyroid is good to go!
