Saturday Darrell  & I went to the tractor & engine show in Sandwich where our tractors were. We spent a couple hours walking around & were about to leave when we noticed a McCormick-Deering IH M hit ‘n miss (putt-putt) for sale! It was $850 and to be honest we were willing to pay that! Especially since it did run & it looked good! It just needed one new thing. We were going back & forth on it when we saw a man who also had these types of engines so we started asking him questions. He said he’d come look at it for us. After inspecting it for a really long time, he told the man selling it that knowing all about these engines, he wouldn’t pay more than $650 for it! So thanks for the man haggling for us, we got it for $200 less, which was a win in our books since like I said we were just going to pay the original price!!! We loaded it onto our pick up truck, went and showed Darrell’s brother & mom & then ended our nice day with some dinner from Rosal’s & some Dippin Dots for dessert!
What are you planning on doing with it? Take it to shows like the others? I know nothing about tractors…..so…..awesome! lol
