On Monday when I was driving to work the rain and wind was getting crazy. I drove by a Menards and the cart corral went flying across the lot into the street and cars had to swerve to avoid hitting it, I couldn’t believe it! So I get to work & the electricity is out, so I can’t even see anything in there! By 10:15 we were finally given the OK to leave, but still get paid! YAY! Anyways, I tried to make a doctors appointment but my doctor was on vacation, so after hearing my symptoms I was told to go to the ER. So I drove home to change into something more comfy and I went to the ER at Rush Copley. I checked in & the proceeded to wait and wait and wait. My parent’s finally got there, and then it was time for some more waiting! It was so annoying, in the end we were there for 7 and a half hours!! The ER doctor had no clue what was causing my rectal bleeding but they decided to do a CAT SCAN of my internal organs, I guess it’s a good thing they did because they found a benign tumor called teratoma on my left ovary, that needs to be surgically removed. She gave me some pain pills (after they gave me morphine, which was HORRIBLE!) and told me I had to see an OBGYN and get an ultrasound to proceed. Of course the OBGYN refused to see me until Monday July 25, so now it’s another waiting game.
