Book 24 of 500!!

A few years ago I won a book at a library party. I put it in my pile of books to read someday. Time goes by and a movie comes out, that sounds interesting, so I put it on my list to see. Then I come to the book, it’s called Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, and it hits me that it is a movie on my list of movies to see! I have no clue what this will be about. I start the book and am bored, and don’t like it, then like 2 chapters in I am hooked!! What a great book! I love how it’s set in 2 different times with the main character being really old in a nursing home & then him going back to college and his time with a circus! Sure, the parts about how animals in circuses are treated was hard to read, but I knew that went on, and that is why once I found out, I stopped liking circuses. This is a great book, and I think everyone should read it. I can’t wait to see the movie, I just hope it’s just like the book!!
