Book 207 of 500!

This book was Scenes From A Movie Part 2 by Gwen Cooper. It was the 2nd part to her cat story where they are moving into a new home! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love her writings about her cats, they are funny, and I can definitely relate!

This book was called The Legacy Chronicles: Killing Giants by Pittacus Lore. Another book in my dad’s and my favorite book series I Am Number 4!!!! These books are amazing, so quick to read because they are so good! I hope they never stop putting out books, but I know someday it’ll end, what a sad day indeed….

Book 204 of 500!

This book was the 2nd of a series, that both my dad and I read the first one. This one was called The Rule Of Many by Ashley and Leslie Saunders. It followed the twin girls and what happened after they had escaped Texas and the US and went to Canada to join a resistance group that watned to get rid of the Rule of One! It was a very exciting book and my dad and I can’t wait for the 3rd book to come out and possibly a tv show/movie!!

Book 203 of 500!

This book was called Chasing Lincoln’s Killer by James L. Swanson. This book was very good and very informative! Lincoln is one of my 2 favorite president’s and he happens to be president during 1 of my 2 favorite wars to read about! I hate that he was murdered, and it would have been cool to see what all he could have done during his presidency if he hadn’t been. But this book followed the exact outline of what happened, and what exactly the killer and the other guys who aided the killer did before, during and after Lincoln’s killer. Super good book!! Very interesting!

Book 202 of 500!

This book was called The Sisters Club: Rule of Three by Megan McDonald. Again this was probably a tween book AND it was also a book in a series, but sometimes are library has books they are giving away for free and I just take what looks interesting to me and don’t realize they it’s a book in a series, but luckily you can figure out what is going on! This one was about 3 young sisters and them just getting through every day life!

Book 201 of 500!

This book was called The War Within: A novel of the Civil War by Carol Matas. I got this book the same time I got the pacific war book. Obviously I loved this one because the Civil War and WW2 are my 2 favorite wars to read about! What I loved about this, is it followed a family in the South, who also happened to be Jewish. So you had this Jewish family who owned slaves and thought it was ok to treat them the way they did, but they were Jewish, the very same people who would be treated so cruelly during WW2. It was pretty crazy to think about!

Book 200 of 500!

This book was called Twelve by Lauren Myracle. It was really a book for tween girls, but I actually love books for that age range. It was basically about a girl turning 12 and what she was going through and feeling, I loved it! Too bad I didn’t realize there was a book called Eleven and Thirteen. So I sort of just read the middle book! Oh well!

Book 199 of 500!

This book is Heroes Don’t Run: A Novel of the Pacific War by Harry Mazur. I love reading books about wars, and this is a war that I’ve never really studied much or ever really seen a book about, so I’m glad I found it because it was very good!!

Book 198 of 500!

This book was by Gwen Cooper again called Toy Stories! It’s about how cat parent’s always try to buy their cats tons of nice cat toys, but in the end they just prefer the packaging in came in! Until they find the perfect toy they love, and you have to buy tons of the same toy to keep them happy!!

Book 197 of 500!

This book was Love in Cold Climate by my favorite author, Gwen Cooper!! It was so cute and funny, about when they moved from warm sunny Florida to cold grey New York City, and were stuck in a 1 room apartment, and the poor kitties were cold, and full of static electricity and wondering where all the other rooms of the house were!!

Book 196 of 500!

This book was The Legacy Chronicles: Raising Monsters by Pittacus Lore. It’s another book in my dad’s and my I Am Number 4 series that we love! It was another quick read, because some of the books are just way too short, and we are already counting down for the next one!!

Book 195 of 500!

This book was Pearl Harbor Is Burning: A Story of World War 2 by Kathleen V. Kudlinski. This was a story written for a younger audience, so I read through it quickly, but I love stories from wars, especially WW2. Plus this as written from the perspective of a young boy, and his Hawaiien friend and how they witnessed the attack!

Book 194 of 500!

This book was Notes On A Near-Life Experience by Olivia Birdwell. This was a good book, and another quick read for me. It was about a family and the struggles they have when the parents end of getting a divorce, written by one of the children, a girl, an the middle child.
